MTV EMA: Lady Gaga é campeã de indicações e prêmio inclui brasileiros

Anitta, Emicida, Djonga, Ludmilla e Pabllo Vittar concorrem na categoria Melhor artista brasileiro. A entrega será em cerimônia no dia 8 de novembro

O MTV EMA 2020 divulgou, nesta terça-feira (6/10), os indicados à premiação deste ano. A lista da 27ª edição é encabeçada pela cantora Lady Gaga, com seis indicações, seguida pelo grupo de k-pop BTS, com cinco, e o canadense Justin Bieber nomeado a quatro categorias. Há cinco brasileiros lembrados no prêmio: Anitta, Emicida, Djonga, Ludmilla e Pabllo Vittar. As estatuetas serão entregues em 8 de novembro em cerimônia ao vivo transmitida pela MTV em 180 países e territórios.

Colhendo os frutos do lançamento do álbum Chromatica divulgado em maio, Lady Gaga concorre em seis categorias: Artista do ano, Melhor artista pop, Maiores fãs, Melhor colaboração, Música pop do ano e Clipe do ano, essas três últimas por Rain on me, com Ariana Grande. O grupo de k-pop também aproveita o sucesso do disco Map of the Soul: 7, lançado em janeiro.

Os jovens coreanos estão nomeados a cinco categorias: Melhor música (Dynamite), Melhor artista pop, Melhor grupo, Maiores fãs, Melhor apresentação ao vivo (por Map of the Soul concert live stream). No caso de Bieber, o destaque surge por causa do disco Changes, divulgado em fevereiro. O canadense disputa os prêmios de Artista do ano, Melhor colaboração (Intentions com Quavo), Melhor artista pop e Maiores fãs.

Os cantores e cantoras brasileiros estão todos juntos na categoria Melhor artista brasileiro. Entre os ritmos celebrados estão o funk pop de Anitta e Ludmilla, o pop de Pabllo Vittar, além do rap de Emicida e Djonga.

Além de celebrar os brasileiros, neste ano, o MTV EMA 2020 tem três novas categorias: Melhor artista latino, Melhor vídeo por uma causa e melhor apresentação ao vivo. A votação fica aberta no site oficial até 2 de novembro.
