Nesta terça-feira (23/11), a academia do Grammy anunciou os indicados ao prêmio de 2022. A 64ª edição da premiação mais importante da indústria musical acontecerá no dia 31 de janeiro de 2022, em Los Angeles, nos EUA.

O evento que revelou os indicados ao Grammy 2022 contou com a participação de membros do BTS, a cantora H.E.R. e a banda Maneskin.

Para esta edição, a academia aumentou o número de indicados à categoria principal, Música do Ano, de 8 para 10. Também houve a adição de dois novos prêmios: Melhor Performance de Música Global e Melhor Álbum de Música Urbana.

Diferentemente dos eventos anteriores, as indicações deste ano foram feitas pelos mais de 11 mil membros da academia. Antes, elas eram feitas por um grupo de 15 a 30 especialistas anônimos.
